![]() That’s it all the photos would be uploaded to your Picasa Web Album account which can also be accessed from your desktop easily. Once this is done, you will find a list of all the Albums which were saved, since the Import process didn’t download the photos in the form of batches or sets we don’t get any Albums. In the Step6, Migratr would ask you to select the folder where you have downloaded all the photos. Click on the Authenticate button and then enter your Google Account Logins to complete finishing the Authentication. In this case we would select the Picasa Web service. Once all the Photos are Imported ie downloaded to your computer, you will next be asked to select a service where you would like to Export the Photos too. Next click on the Import button and the software will start downloading all the photos to your computer one by one. You need to specify the location where these downloaded photos should be stored. Here you need to click on the Import button, which will download all the photos from your account to your computer. Then download the Picasa Web Albums app to your iPad and you can have access to all your photos (and maybe with the captions) without taking up space on your iPad. Once this is done, click on the ‘Finish Authentication’ button which will move the software to the Step 3. I haven’t checked, but you could try uploading the albums you want to have access to on your iPad to Picasa Online Albums (free up to about 10gb or so). Although authorizing does not mean that the external software will be able to Delete the Photos and Videos. Once you Authorize Migratr, the software will be able to Upload, Edit & Replace Photos and videos in your account. Next when you click on the Authenticate option you will find that the Migratr would open a new browser window with asking you to login to the Flickr services and verify that Migratr is allowed to access your account for transferring the photos. Once the software is installed and run for the first time you will find the following screen where it will be asking you to select the service from which you want to ‘Import your Photos’. You can download this free software application and easily install it on your windows based computer. ![]() Called as the Migrator which allows you to transfer photos from different services like 23HQ, Photobucket, Flickr, SmugMug, Gallery2, Zenfolio, Picasa Web, Zooomr & Phanfare. Instead of performing this job manually by bulk downloading Flickr Photos, We will show you a software which would allow you to easily transfer all your photos directly with a few clicks. You can always Upload Multiple Flickr Images but there is no quick option for single image like the Picasa Desktop software offers you. Along with this you cannot Sync your Desktop based Photos directly in Flickr the way Picasa allows you to, hence we planned to move all our photos from the Flickr Service to Picasa Web. We have a Flickr account with 2,244 Photos uploaded out of which 95% are private photos with access only available with us, while around 50 Photos are in Public and for this there is no point in paying Flickr 24$ every year. In short we can say that Picasa is one of the best desktop photo organizer. We have been using the Picasa Software from a while and have actually fallen in love with it because of the features and options it allows us to use, when compared to the default Windows Image Viewer which just displays the Image and gives shortcuts to print, edit or rotate the Images.
